З історії навчального закладу
В 1852 році в селі Стегниківці була заснована однокласна школа з українською мовою навчання. Населення в селі було 1216 чоловік, домівок 195. Уміло читати і писати 209 чоловік, а 979 не вміло ні читати, ні писати.На 6.02.1915 р. населення було 11
